As part of the LOCALY Project’s mission to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing across communities, we are happy to come back to the peer-to-peer support meetings held from September to December 2024.
The Buchte is a German Young Friends of Nature youth house in the centre of the city of Bremen that serves as a meeting place for many self-organised groups.
Recently, I had the honor of supporting students from the 1st Experimental Junior High School of Chania as part of the Erasmus+ LOCALY Project.

The LOCALY Toolkit fosters youth environmental awareness by guiding exploration and reflection, driving informed action, and deeper understanding of local issues.
By combining grassroots environmental action with direct advocacy, LOCALY aims to not only empower young people today but also work towards a future where youth voices are integral to decision-making processes.
On Sunday, the 7th of July, 18 youth workers travelled to Asturias to meet an international team of 3 trainers, already waiting for them at Monasterio de Santa María de Valdediós.
