Open Call for Participants: Transnational Training for Youth Workers

📌GO LOCALY!, is a 5 days residential training course for youth workers, youth leaders and volunteers of youth organisations to learn how to support young people (13 to 17 years old) to implement community-based interventions through their self-initiated local environmental projects.

🌿The training will be organised and hosted by Asociación Biodiversa, in the framework of the LOCALY project, aiming to train youth workers on how to empower young people to mitigate environmental problems within their local communities. It will take place in Asturias, Spain, from 8th to 12th July 2024.

⚠️THIS CALL IS FOR YOU IF…

☑️ you are a youth worker or a volunteer of a youth organization

☑️ you have a local network of at least 6 young people you frequently work with

☑️ you’re 18 years old or older at the time of the start of the training (8th July 2024)

☑️ you’re fluent in English

☑️ you are committed and available to be fully present and participative during the whole duration of the training course (8-12th July 2024),

☑️ you currently live (and will travel from) preferably one of these cities: Chania (Greece), Athens (Greece), Berlin (Germany), Matera (Italy) or Gijón (Spain)

☑️ you are happy and willing to spend a week surrounded by nature and away from urban distractions
